Navigating Grief Series
This week I met with psychologist, Dr. Rebecca Tuttle, to discuss grief. I often meet families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Handling legal matters when you are not a lawyer can be overwhelming in most circumstances but especially during a time of grieving. I wanted to better understand the grieving process so that we can support clients through more than just paperwork.
During the next few weeks we will learn how to navigate grief with the help of Dr. Tuttle in a 3 part series.
1st we will understand the 5 stages of grief;
2nd we will learn ways to support someone who is grieving; and
3rd we will learn how to care for ourselves while we are grieving.
Sincerely,
Silvia A. Brett
