SCHEDULE A MEDIATION OR SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE

Please review the mediation policies and ensure the terms and requested date are acceptable to all parties prior to booking.

Bookings are not final until the following has been completed: mediation confirmation (Notice of Mediation or correspondence between all parties confirming mediation) has been sent to info@brettlegal.com.

Please note: mediation dates will not be held longer than fourteen (14) days and mediations are not confirmed until receiving a mediation confirmation from the parties.

Additional dates and times may be available upon request.

Mediation Policies

  • Standard Rate:

    $380/hour ($190 per hour, per party) with time computed to the nearest half hour. For “multiparty” mediations with three (3) parties, the rate is $115 per hour, per party. For mediations with four (4) parties the rate is $95 per hour, per party, And for mediations with five (5) or more $90 per hour, per party.

    Half-day (Up to 4 hours):

    $380/hour with a 3-hour minimum ($190 per hour, per party), or $1,140 minimum.

    Full-day (Up to 8 hours):

    $380/hour with a 7-hour minimum ($190 per hour, per party), or $2,660 minimum.

    “Parties” to the mediation refers to the named parties to the litigation as well as any interested parties voluntarily participating in the mediation process.

  • Please provide pre-mediation reports or any other reports the parties intend to have reviewed at least 2 business days prior to the mediation.

  • Mediations are available in-person or virtually with most mediations taking place virtually.

    Given the current dynamics and demand for continued Zoom mediations, we are offering in-person mediations for Hillsborough, Manatee, Pinellas, Pasco, Orange, Osceola, Sarasota, and Seminole counties only. At this time, mediation in any other counties must be conducted by Zoom videoconference or other means of audio/video conference.

    In-person mediations may take place at one of the attorneys’ offices or at a location mutually agreed-to by all parties.

    There is no extra fee for in-person mediations in the Tampa Bay Area. Travel fees may apply for in-person mediations outside of the Tampa Bay Area.
