#1 Tip for Dealing with Creditors of Probate Estates

The Tip: Always get everything in writing!

If the creditors refuse to provide documentation in writing and you are the Personal Representative or Executor of the Estate, then take the initiative and create the documentation on behalf of the Estate. Ask them to clarify immediately in writing if the documentation you provide to them is incomplete or inaccurate.

At Brett Legal, we routinely represent Executors or Personal Representatives of Estates and assist them in carrying out their duties during the probate administration process.
